RSAM Motorized Tilting Mast
Product Description
The RSAM-Mast is a remotely deployable, tilting antenna and sensor mounting system with a customizable, bolt-on mast for added height. Designed for use on tactical, law enforcement, and utility vehicles, it enables rapid elevation of lightweight payloads such as antennas, sensors, cameras, and lights without requiring operators to exit the vehicle. With fewer moving parts than traditional telescoping masts, the RSAM-Mast offers faster deployment, lower weight, improved serviceability, and a significantly reduced cost, while retaining full manual override capability.
Remote Control
The antenna can be electrically raised or lowered using a wireless remote or an optional hard-wired switch panel, providing reliable control from within or outside the vehicle. This motorized operation allows operators to quickly deploy or stow the antenna without leaving their position, improving efficiency and safety in field environments.
NATO Pattern Rotating Base
The RSAM mounts using the NATO 4-hole pattern with elongated slots, allowing the stowed antenna position to be adjusted to clear nearby obstructions or adapt to different vehicle layouts. This standardized mounting interface ensures compatibility with a wide range of military and commercial antenna systems, making integration simple and reliable across multiple platforms.
Removable Service Cover
The removable protective housing shields the internal actuators and wiring from environmental exposure while allowing easy access for maintenance. The cover can be detached in seconds using four captive thumb screws, enabling quick servicing or actuator replacement without special tools.
